HELLO TO ALL OF MY FANS!
I know that I have been out of the music business and away from the limelight
for many, many years. But, I am still very much present amongst all of you who
were and still remain my fans, from my generation, with whom
I grew up!
An Autograph Signing Event for Charity
called
"VINYLMANIA"
has been held in Las Vegas for the last 5 years. During this past February
of 2001, I agreed to come out of hiding to participate, (after
much coaxing from a friend of mine).
To my own amazement, I was overwhelmed when I found out that
I
still have so many fans, who still play my old recordings, and have been
wondering what happened to me, and where I have been after all these years,
since I left my recording career behind me at the end of 1969.
My appearance at this event went over so well
that I decided on an official Diane Renay web site, so those of you who are
still my fans can contact me via email to say hello. And, also to make
available my new double CD and autographed photos that you can view here on my
web site with ordering instructions that are on the linked ordering page.

INFORMATION ABOUT MY
NEW DOUBLE CD COMPILATION:
On CD1 are many recordings that I took from my
very own collection of all my Vinyl Record Releases; many that were never
played on the Radio Stations and made it to the Record Stores for Sale.
Most of them are not available on any other CD’s that might be out there now! Also,
included will be several DEMO’S that I found that were Never Even
Pressed into Vinyl Recordings. One of the Demo’s that I found was when
I was only 13 years old, and it was the very first time I ever made a
test recording before I became Diane
Renay the Professional Recording Artist! Also, on CD
1 is a recording that was on a Demo of both Bob Crewe (My Record
Producer & Writer of Navy Blue), and myself singing a Duet
of the old standard song "Teach Me Tonight"!
On CD2 are
all NEVER RELEASED
RECORDINGS. Some as early as 1962 from my very
first Professional Recording Session with Producer Pete De Angelis.
Also, I went back into the recording studio all throughout the 1980’s,
whereby I made many Professional Recordings that were NEVER
RELEASED, including some Demo Recordings of
Songs that I both Wrote and Recorded in 1989.
Between the 2 CDs there are a total of 35 Recordings that I made
throughout my life. These 2 CDs will be like "Taking
a Walk Down My Musical History Lane"
with me!
